Get ready for season 2 of Club Scandinavia League by PROSIM.NU !!!
Fresh from the successful first ever season of a Scandinavian league, we get ready for a new season! Since we have now built a base of familiarity with the GT3 class, we will be doing one more season of GT3. This time it will be even more closely tied to the official iRacing GT3 series. Same layout, same weather, same week. We will be practicing Monday (one day before the iRacing week starts) and Thursday, and have the race on the next Monday (The last day of the iRacing week). The benefits are, among other things, the following: Ability to use official practices and even races as preparation for our race. And get to have our race while this is all fresh. There will also be a focus on track/layout specific setups in the iRacing forum threads, giving us a chance to pick up a good setup before our race.
We will be racing every second week, starting with week 1 and finishing with week 11. All in parallell with the official series, except for that we switch Interlagos with Monza, meaning that we will be doing Monza one week after the official series. This because Monza is new and cool, and we already did Interlagos the previous season. Four races will be 45 minutes long, two races will be 75 minutes long (5 minutes added from previous season). Pit stops are mandatory, but the race length of the long races secure a stop anyhow, and for the short races there will be a 60% fuel limit – nobody should be able to go the entire length without fuel. Tire changes are optional.
The driving standards improved during the progress of the first season, ending up at a level we hope to continue the next season. In any case, we are Scandinavians, and should know to treat others with respect on the track! Making friends is also part of the league, and thus we encourage the use of our teamspeak server:

For season 2, we have a sponsor: ProSim, a new sim racing experience establishment. See their website at prosim.nu. The sponsor covers the cost of all practice and race sessions, plus a certain amount of prize money. We will therefore be handing out the following prizes:
1st place overall: 20$ iRacing credits
2nd place overall: 10$ iRacing credits
3rd place overall: 5$ iRacing credits
Plus some prizes during the season that will be announced ahead of specific races.
This also means there will be no entry fee!
As a thank you to our sponsor, it will be great if the car painters among you can use the numberplate and/or logo provided by our sponsor. They can be found here:
Or, even easier, use an already prepared paint from our sponsor. Currently only BMW has been uploaded:

How to find the practice sessions and races? This is a bit hidden if you are not used to looking for league sessions. They are found here, together with any other session from other leagues if you are part of more leagues:
Note that when the sessions are created (most will be created just after the season starts, due to weather being unknown until then), you will be able to see all planned future sessions as well from the above link.
